![]() There are days when I just want to help my team for maybe an hour or two, but I have to spend an hour getting enough resources, building a truck, grabbing scrap, refining, factory building, etc. It would make me want to enjoy foxhole so much more as a solo player.Īlot of frustration I had when playing solo came from having to either constantly live, breathe, eat foxhole, or else all your progress just gets deleted.Ģ days is just not enough time as a solo player to feel comfortable leaving the game and coming back, especially when life events are around. If I had 4 days of time to access even just a truck and a flatbed I built, with maybe 4 crates of bmats. Like a home base sort of feel as players get to know each other. ![]() Might make people stick to a singlular region more often. Where a player can mark one stockpile on the foxhole map to be "HQ storage", and that one supply point gets 96 hours, and the rest get 24 hours. Up to 10 crates/vehicles can be set to "P.S." ( Right click a crate, "mark as priority") "P.S." lasts for up to 96 hours before being released to the public. PLease increase by 24 hours to give us some god damn breathing room.Īctually I think there's an even better solution. It's 50 hours but if you don't manage the timer properly on a daily basis + miss just 1 day of logging on means potential catastrophic personal loss. I enjoy the battles and I want to have many more, but feeling forced play daily or run the risk of losing every single reserved crate I've made is pretty shitty. This daily requirement is leading the way in that burn out feeling for me. When I logged on today, I had 5 hours left on my reserve timer.Īll my hard work and efforts to build a personal stash of items and weapons, my "loadouts" if you will, which I require to perform the duties of the day, will be taken from me if I am not managing it daily. THIS is why I'm feeling burnt out, because i'm feeling stuck to my depot stash like a ball and chain on a very short leash that compels me to log in daily, as opposed to wanting to. I decided to take yesterday off completely, no playing for 24 hours, first time pretty much since I started playing about a month ago.Īs I log in I start thinking about my reserve stashes(depots mainly) and start to get some anxiety. So just do that once a day and you'll keep your stockpile until your ready to use it.Relatively new player here on my 3rd war and I'm starting to feel some burn out.Īt first I thought it was because i'm playing the game doing 1 thing for too long and need to switch it up, but I do switch it up quite a bit. You can refresh the 50 hours by pulling or submitting any reservable crates to the stockpile, you can even just pull something out and put it back in just to refresh the timer. You can store your reservable crates into a reserve stockpile that you make at a storage depot or seaport, you can make up to 3 per depot/seaport, and they will remain for 50 hours. you cannot recrate resources into reservable crates, so if they are ever loose uncrated resources, they are now public. When you "Personal" refine your resources, when you go to retrieve them from your refinery, RIGHT CLICK to bring up a dropdown menu and select "Retrieve as crates" this will give you resource crates with the "reservable" tag, it will keep this tag UNTIL IT GETS UNCRATED. Other comments have explained how to do this but I'll also explain here. But I've seen that some people are perfectly chill with it.Īdditionally with that, you can create a reserve stockpile and store crated resources that you grabbed from your refinery. If people give you an attitude for camping a comp mine that you petroled, just inform that your truck will be full soon, it doesn't take long to fill a normal truck with comps at a petrol fueled mine. Often times oil wells get flooded with oil that nobody wants to pick up, so do your team a favor and go collect that oil. It's an unspoken rule that if your gonna camp a component mine, at least petrol fuel it so it's being efficient. Petrol speeds up the component mines by 3x the current resource rate, which increases or decreases based on the games overall population to accommodate enough resources for everyone to use. Once you get a full truck of components, thats 75 rmats, you can go refine it then come back. ![]() Then bring 10 cans of petrol to a component mine, fuel it up and camp it for components. My suggestion for any new player trying to get rmats for a personal tank, go and collect oil from oil wells and refine into petrol.
